ABOUT ME

I want to learn and create and be proven wrong every once and a while. There is nothing I like better than telling a good story, which I do with a variety of gestures, emotions and voices. What some people see as a set back, I see what can later be made into a new tale.

PHILOSOPHY

"Yes and" This is the motto for improvisational comedy. When you're on stage you validate or"yes" what has been created and then add to the creation with an "and." It's really about accepting possibility and working with another to achieve a common goal. As you can see it makes for a good way to look at life. "Yes and"ing is about eliminating doubting and learning to trust in yourself and those around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be traveling alone on my upcoming journey, so I'm mostly interested in meeting some new people. Also, if I happen to find the occasional couch to crash on, it will help my wallet hurt a little less.

I'm a high school teacher certified to teach high school writing, literature and public speaking with 11 years of experience. I have performed in over 25 Shakespeare plays and have experience teaching acting, directing, improvisation and stage combat to kids, teenagers and adults. I'm just as eager to learn as I am to teach.
