ABOUT ME

I recently finished two years of teaching in Saudi Arabia and now I'm studying Spanish in Latin America while looking for a teaching job at international schools. I like to climb mountains, x-country ski, cook for friends, and meet other travelers. I like white wine, reading, running, and dancing. My philosophy is to grab every opportunity that is guaranteed to change my life for the better, and travel always does that. I hope to gain a better understanding of my place in the world and what I want to do with the life I have.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have met a number of wonderful couch surfers in the past, both as a host, and through friends who hosted in Alaska. I am excited to meet new people on my travels, and hopefully an intercambio in Latin America who I can practice Spanish with!

Intereses

Climbing mountains, playing outside in general, cooking (for other people), folk music, dancing, puppets and dioramas, Spanish, reading, stock investing, wine, coastal-temperate rainforests, and being around funny people.

I'm a helper, so put me to work! I can cook, help you practice English, and I'm also pretty good at fixing things (believe it or not). I will try any food, and I'm not afraid to go out of my comfort zone to learn something new about the countries I go to.
