Hi, I’m Ako. My full name is Aksaule which in kazakh means Ak- white, saule - sun rays, so white sun rays☀️. I am from Kazakhstan, which is located in Central Asia, and I love exploring new places and meeting people from different cultures.

I am an INFP mbti type person. I love quiet calm atmosphere. Yet I love deep meaningful conversations. Sometimes I would feel really introverted but sometimes the opposite. Especially I tend to become a bit more outgoing when I travel.😄

I don’t smoke or drink, I’ve never even tried, and not going to.😅

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to understand a place is through its people. I want to meet people from all around the world, and get to know their culture. And it’s my dream to have at least one friend in every country, so I can associate each place with a person and the memories we shared.

I enjoy singing, drawing, learning languages, and of course travelling. Travelling for me isn’t just about places, but also about stories and connections. Also I am into different areas like psychology, science.

I love pop, indie, alt genres of music. And I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift. And I usually listen to CAS songs when I am in a melancholic mood. My favourite tv shows are Stranger Things, and the Vampire Diaries. And favourite movies are Maze Runner, the Amazing Spider-man.
