I am a free-spirited 22-year-old Economics student from Finland. I enjoy sitting down with people, sharing personal experiences and discussing issues such as world events, culture, and society.

I am arriving in Tokyo on the 22nd of January, and leaving on a boat to China from Osaka on the 11th of February. Everything in between is still undecided.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I must admit that this is the first time I'm using the app. I wish to get to know new people, see the countryside and national parks, and experience some nightlife in Tokyo.

Soul, funk, psychedelic rock, folk and indy rock. Individual artists, eg. Gil Scott-Heron, Idris Muhammad, David Bowie, Beach House, Frank Ocean, Father John misty, Mac Demarco and lesser known Finnish acts and bands, such as Ultra Bra and PMMP.

The most recent film I saw was the Lighthouse, which was amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and 14 of my friends organized the welcome party for our 400 freshman students. This spectacle spanned over 24 hours, encompassing a three-hour self-acted play, a parade across downtown Helsinki, oudoor activities, a club event and two 4 hour student parties.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Delightful company for spontaneous and exciting adventures! I am a modest and an adaptive guest; all I need is a roof above me and a place to lay my sleeping bag.
