About Me
Hello!!
My interests: I enjoy reading books and love listening to stories, I enjoy ted talks. I occasionally practice yoga. I love eating good food and find cooking fun. I am fond of cats, my pet is called Paboo and is three years old. That's sums up some random bits of me.
My work: I recently started teaching bachelors' of arts students few subjects of psychology at a local college, I also guide clinical psychology students on the field visits to the hospitals and assist mental health professionals in assessment.
My passion: I have been working on some research projects in the area of personality psychology and decision making. I have also been mentoring with an NGO called Mentor Me India, to bring about a tiny change in the lives of underprivileged children.
My take on travelling: I am not very big into travelling yet, but as I have some time at this junction in my life, so I guess I would like to explore a bit. Hence jumping right into it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I don't know much about solo travelling. All my travels until now have been with friends or family.
But i really wish to explore and get out the comfort zone. I wish to see many places and experience different cultures. However, I do not have much money to do all of it. But i watched the Ted talk by Tomislav Perko on how to travel the world with almost no money and I feel my situation is similar to the one he describes. Its the talk that inspired me and here I am couchsurfing. : )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am not sure, I am hoping to do some while I travel.
But so far, I think being a mum to my three year old pet, and mentoring a 12 year old kid to help dream big could be two amazing things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am looking forward to learn anything and everything the world is ready to offer me. I personally believe that no knowledge or skill ever goes waste. So yes I am open to a lot of new ideas and learning. I would like to learn a few new cuisines, new language and some cool skills.
I can teach, some bit of cooking and yoga. How to greet in these languages- Hindi, Marathi and Kannada.
I can share my experiences so far, and all the new experiences I will have. Some interesting stories and facts about India and Mumbai.
