About Me

Only send a request if you are coming alone and for on or two nights maximum. Accepting guests only until 16th September.

I am a Masters student at Politecnico di Milano, studying nuclear engineering.

I have lived all my life in India except for the last three years, which have been here in Milano.

I am very respectful of your space and time. I will always try to leave the room/couch in the same state I found it in or if possible neater.

I can cook some Indian food for you if you'd like and we can have a nice meal over drinks and exchange stories. I am more interested in listening to yours unless you want me to speak. I don't like to hear myself talking, so trying to listen these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet some new interesting people!

Hear their stories and learn from their experiences. Open myself up to different perspectives.

My first guests were two 18 yo from Netherlands, who were hitchiking through Europe and were studying Parkour as a career opportunity. Now, that blew my mind and I have been hooked to couchsurfing and to try and meet people from different walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Game of Thrones, hoping for the sixth book to be finished sometime.
Dan Brown. Agatha Christie. Jeffrey Archer. Robin Cook. Jason Bourne series.

Basically fast paced fiction thrillers. I can't read philosophy and self-help books even with a gun to my head!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a Backpacking trip to Bhutan alone after seeing a photo of the Tiger's Nest, with no lodging arrangements. I trekked to the monastery and returned back home after 2 days in Bhutan, because after seeing that I felt nothing else could top that off!

Teach, Learn, Share

My knowledge about India - food, culture, languages, Bollywood, Bollywood songs, and dance.
A little bit about Italy, an expat's perspective. A little bit of Italian and the hand gestures.

If you want to get esoteric - we can discuss, why I believe nuclear energy is the best of energy available to us currently, even better than renewables. And why I still chose to study fusion and not fission.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bhutan, France, Germany

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Italy
