Overview
About Me
Hi there! My name is Aksinija, and I'm happy to live in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. I'm a writer of articles about high-tech and technologies, about all of these great things that push the world forward.
In spare time I like translating sci-pop articles, reading books, doing yoga, dancing, and having long whatever-we-have-in-mind talks with my darlings and friends.
I just love traveling! I wish one day I could say that I had visited all the places I wanted, but being a realist, I know that this day would never come along :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Though I'm here since 2016, I never decently used Couchsurfing. That's a pity for me as far as I could probably meet so many great people while traveling!
Now I want to finally catch up and start seeing a new country not only from the 'geo' point of view but also from the 'folks' one.
I'm sure that it's people who make a place unique, so I hope to know more about your culture and share something about mine.
Interests
I think I'm one of those people who can get interested particularly in everything, if properly addressed :)
I love doing yoga and have been practicing it for 2 years already. I like good literature, great music, light and warm summer evenings, delicious food, and long discussions accompanied by wine!
I adore meeting new people, having jokes, cycling, swimming, watching art, and many many more.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like electronic, neo-chanson, and ethnic music. Goran Bregovic, Astor Piazzolla, Cesaria Evora, Chilly Gonzales, Radiohead, and Moby are cool guys!
Concerning my favorite books, I would name novels by Dostoevsky, Julio Cortazar, John Steinbeck.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine
