ABOUT ME

akua here- i love traveling and learning about other people and what turns them on. making a connection and passing good things around! i like helping visitors and treat you with respect and openess. pleases come visit! and please help to do dishes. i've been to italy, morocco, hungary, czechoslovakia, germany, england, ireland, costa rica, mexico, china, canada and almost all 50 states in the us.
Dale here--started hitch-hiking in my teens, and have loved to travel ever since, to europe, central america and asia. i like meeting local people and being invited into their lives, learning what it's like to live there. i am a low-impact and considerate guest, and given my profession, usually find something to fix at your house. easy-going, accepting of others, and able to adapt to my surroundings. love to read, converse, and solve the world's problems!

PHILOSOPHY

believe in the power of love--it's stronger than anything else. treat others with care and consideration, but won't be taken advantage of. enjoy each day that we're given, and don't spend too much energy on material things.

interesting and enjoyable. like helping people enjoy our town. we couchsurfed italy for a month, staying at least 3 nights on each couch. couldn't be happier with the hosts!

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach basic massage strokes and other ways to alleviate body aches and pains. dale has a lifetime of working on houses, and can share or listen to ideas about building.
