About Me
Hey all, new to Couch Surfing so please give me a chance ;)
My name is Al. Recently I just left intensive Alternative Educational Programme names DNS - The necessary teacher training college. It is based within its own community on the west coast of Denmark. We value a combination of theory and practice together, so that actual topics we cover vary A LOT! Form: Lifestyle & Sustainability to World History or Teaching methods... During this programme and following it after I have been spending my time at a school in Denmark working as a teacher. Something I have found incredibly valuable ; to work giving to people. To genuinely try with all my efforts to make another's life better. It has really given meaning to my life.
At the end of 2017/start of 2018, I had just completed a four month study travel along the West Coast of Africa by bus where I practiced journalistic investigation techniques in forms of investigation to learn the importance of the origins or the information that is recoursed in life!
So that enough about what I am doing and now a little bit more about me! I left England when I was around 20 years old to push my own development and to push life to get the most from it as possible. So this makes me a pretty assertive guy. If I get a funky idea stuck in my head I do my best to make it a reality!
I try to be a well balanced person so sometimes I may be loud and then other times quiet, as for inside the moments we live there is always something appropriate ;)
And one more thing...
I hate to rush! Ironically, that has made me very good at it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couch Surfing because: It is through making connection with people how we create new possibilities in life. Just the other day before writing this I met with a man in Vilnius, Lithuania from Georgia. After making good friends with one another he invited me to visit him some time in his beautiful home country, so now I have a plan to go to Georgia :)
Also I am a sociable person and love meeting new people and hearing new stories.
And it is also worth mentioning that currently in my research, it is very important for me to hear different people perspectives on the world we live in from many different sources to build a bigger understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - For me this is too big of a topic to talk about! I have far too many opinions ;P
Books - "Doors of Perception" is a good place to start. I like things that I can learn from but occasionally love a bit of fantasy to let my imagination run away for a while.
Movies are cool, I guess what i watch depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I left England, I decided to do it one night and left in the morning and have never lived there since. I messaged my friends and told them that my flat was left open so that they could take what they wanted. If i couldn't fit it in to my bag it didn't come with me :)
Also rolling down Sand Dunes in the Sahara was something pretty special for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
As learning and teaching is currently the focus of my life there is so much I could say on this topic... So here is a quote and an extra two thoughts of my own :)
"If you can't explain something simply, it simply means you do not understand it well enough" - Einstein.
Quite often those around us know us better than ourselves. Don't worry it is perfectly natural as we are exposed to every individual thoughts that passes through our heads. Those around us only see what thoughts we turn into a reality so they have much less to consider about our characters.
Nothing is black and white, as every bit of information we receive is bias at some point. Be it from a person, a book or the internet; who ever put it there left it there for their own reasons.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share every thing I have at the time :) I am also very engaging with many stories to share and good ears for listening. But if my host is looking for more? Then I am also a very active person and also very lucky; as always something interesting seems to happen in my life all the time. So lets join up and enjoy the show? :D
