About Me

I'm a Canadian engineer based in Toronto, and travel has honestly shaped who I am more than anything else. It's not just a hobby — it's how I make sense of the world. I love surrendering to the flow of a trip, letting it take me somewhere unexpected, and embracing whatever it brings. That kind of openness has given me some of my most meaningful experiences and memories.

Travel and photography found me at the same time — and I don't think that's a coincidence.
I shoot landscapes and portraits, and I've practiced it at a professional level. I even tried turning it into a source of income for a while, but I quickly realized I'd rather keep it a passion. Some things are too good to turn into work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This platform holds a really special place in my heart. Some of my best travel memories — and some of the most genuine friendships I've ever made — were born right here. I genuinely miss those days when the community felt alive and buzzing with energy.

Couchsurfing is A way of travelling like no other. And that's something I'll never stop chasing.
No matter where I've been, the people were always the best part of the trip. That's what keeps bringing me back here. 🌍

Music, Movies, and Books

It really depends on my mood, where I am in the world, and who's sharing the moment with me. The right company can make any song feel like your favourite!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's genuinely hard to pick just one — every trip has left me with something I didn't expect to carry home.
But if I had to choose, on one of my long trips, I challenged myself to never sleep in the same city twice. Just keep moving, keep discovering, and put my skills to the test. My longest streak? 14 cities in a row. Couchsurfing was a big part of this story.

Teach, Learn, Share

-Photography: I enjoy capturing moments and perspectives from my travels. It’s my way of remembering places and the people I meet along the way.

-Cooking: I can share with you the secrets of horrible cooks .. loool
It’s practically an unwritten Couchsurfing rule that we cook, and share a meal—and honestly, it’s one of my favourite parts of the experience. I make it a point to do this with every host I stay with (fair warning: results may vary, but the effort is always there !)

-Languages: I’m always excited to learn new languages or even just a few words. It’s a fun way to understand different cultures and connect with people.

-Travel stories & experiences: I genuinely enjoy exchanging stories, experiences, and perspectives from different parts of the world. Those conversations are often the best part of any trip.
