Florian and I are married and best friends. We pursue the same goal in life: enjoy it and be kind, and life will give back.

Our friends and family often describe us as a joyful and optimistic couple, always happy to share the best and the worst of our travel experiences (bear and wolf encounter during a hike, how we almost die in Philippines, where we saw the best shooting starts, how I got to eat a crockroach...)

Very curious and open-minded, we both love meeting new people. We are both fluently in English and French is our native language (Spanish still a WIP). We can be very resourceful when it comes to other languages (thank you Google trad and hand speak!).

We like discovering local food - even what if it's something we're totally not used to eat.

Long story short, we love discovering new cultures in all their aspects.

As traveler, we also like to cook and if the host is interested, sharing our meal.
We are also neat and discreet persons, spotless kitchen and bathroom we will leave behind us ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because to us it seems the most interesting way to meet local people and share culture.
If we stick to guide books, tripadvisor or other travel apps, we miss the REAL thing and the REAL way of life of the place we visit.

We started a world tour early July 2017, for a whole year. In addition to its obvious budget advantage, Couchsurfing is the easiest way for us to hang out with local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were in Teton park, Montana, US, hiking alone when we spotted a wild black bear, 20 meter away, staring at us, like he/she was thinking "who are you guys, do you have food, what are you doing here?"

It was both fascinating and scary. After staring at us until he disappear from our sight, we continued to look behing, "just in case".

Was definitely one for the most amazing hike encounter we had so far.
