We're Ala and Sam, a dynamic duo with a knack for technology, art, and a serious case of wanderlust.
Sam is a tech guru, rocking the world of AI, 3D, and virtual reality, all while channeling his creative vibes as an artist and illustrator.
We're not only tech enthusiasts but also foodies, always up for trying out new flavors and exploring culinary delights.
Ala, on the other hand, is the more adventurous one. After living in Sydney for over a decade, she hopped on her motorcycle for a solo adventure through New South Wales and Queensland.
When she's not on the road, she loves connecting with animals, diving into good reads, and meeting awesome people.
Together, we've explored some fantastic destinations like Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Croatia, Slovenia, Denmark, Greece, and the USA.

Following our time in Australia, we spent four years in Belgium, immersing ourselves in its vibrant culture and going back to uni. When the pandemic hit, we found ourselves stuck in the concrete jungle and decided to move to Cyprus once the borders opened up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently, we are embarking on a road trip to visit Ala's family in Poland and Germany, offering support to her mother after her surgery. Our trusty car will be our home on wheels for this journey, and although we won't have any furry companions accompanying us this time, we are excited to embrace the open road and the new experiences it brings.

As we embark on this road trip, we cherish the opportunity to connect with people along the way. We believe that every person has a fascinating story to tell, and we eagerly look forward to meeting new individuals and hearing about their unique lives. Our genuine curiosity and desire to learn from others will undoubtedly lead to enriching experiences and heartfelt connections.

All we truly need on this journey is a place to rest our heads, whether it's a comfortable floor or a cozy couch.

I cancelled my spotify subscription and now re-listen to my library of mp3 from an old hard drive. What a fun trip into the past. I feel very nostalgic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being able to meet amazing people wherever we travelled and making great friends for life.

We also painted a massive mural in Singapore and in Bali in 35 degrees heat and 100% humidity- it was well worth it!

Our interest is technology (e.g. VR), communication, traveling, and animals.
Having worked in Sales Consulting, and software development I am happy to answer any questions about sales analytics and operations / sales improvement.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If possible, it would be great to have a chat, share a meal and laugh. But if you are busy, you will barely tell I am there.

You can expect me to be friendly and helpful. I am clean and happy to cook a meal together, watch a movie, have a drink or go for a walk and explore the surrounding.
