Overview
About Me
I’m Alaeddin, originally from Türkiye. I have lived in Türkiye and Hungary before moving to Paris. Since August 2024 I have been enjoying life here in Paris, where I recently finished my master’s degree and I am now preparing to register with the Paris Bar. I live alone in a one bedroom apartment and I am happy to host travelers. I can offer a comfy air mattress in my living room. My interests include chess, architecture and running. I love discovering different sides of Paris, whether through its streets, culture or everyday life. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories and making the most of my time in this beautiful city.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy books and movies that capture the spirit of Paris. A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway is one of my favorites as it beautifully describes the city through the eyes of a writer. I also love Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen which shows the magic and timeless charm of the city, and Le Samouraï, a French classic with unforgettable Parisian atmosphere. These works remind me why I enjoy living here so much. Paris is not just where I live but also a constant source of inspiration in art, literature and cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done was moving to Paris on my own to pursue my master’s degree. It was a big step that pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it allowed me to grow, meet people from all around the world, and experience this city in a very unique way. Living and studying here has been both challenging and inspiring, and I am proud of taking that leap.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge of law, my experience of living in different countries, and my love for chess and running. I am always happy to learn from others, whether it is about their culture, language, or personal experiences. What I enjoy most is the exchange itself, teaching, learning, and sharing ideas that create real connections.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, stories from my experiences in Türkiye, Hungary and France, and my passion for chess, architecture and running. I enjoy cooking simple meals and I am happy to help with anything around the house. Most of all I can share my curiosity, openness and positive energy.
