About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hi there!
I recently turned into a digital nomad, after leaving London where I lived for the last 5 years.
In 2021 and the beginning of 2022, I started traveling a lot and got used to this nomadic lifestyle. In the meantime, I had new work opportunities In Paris, so I decided to move back to Paris. The problem was that I wasn't ready to settle back there full-time. So, I chose to live there part-time. I found a flat to rent for only two weeks per month. Now, I have no other choice but to travel every month!
But this intense nomadic lifestyle can get a bit frustrating as I'm not a tourist. I also have to work while I'm traveling. This is the reason why I chose to focus more on the people and their culture than on bucket-list places and monuments.
ABOUT ME
I work as a freelance journalist and I'm very curious. While traveling, I document my lifestyle and work for a French online media. For them, I'm interviewing famous French people abroad who aren't famous in France, to make people discover them in France.
When documenting my trips, I want to prove that traveling in an authentic way is simple and still feasible, even for a woman traveling solo. I'm trying to avoid taking planes as much as possible, preferring the train, and I also want to avoid using Airbnb, as they are damaging our house markets everywhere.
My idea of traveling is more about meeting locals and getting to know them and their culture, their favourite places, (maybe meet their friends too?) and sharing good moments with them, than visiting the "have-to-go" places.
PHILOSOPHY
Live as many experiences as you can, and share them with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing, to me, is the best way to meet people and get to know them and their culture.
As explained earlier, I want to show really authentic trips are still feasible (sleep at locals', eat where locals eat, party where they do...).
I want to focus on meeting people while traveling, and sharing experiences and cultures.
Interests
Travels, culture, art, vintage things, sports, music...
I am very curious, so I'm basically interested in everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once was invited for tea-time at a mafioso in Albania! His house looked like Tony Montana's, everything was golden, and when his wife brought some chocolate biscuits, they were shaped into gold ingots! I didn't dare to say I was a Journalist and pretended to be a student.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach you to cook a French dish or to speak some French and I would love to learn the same from you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would also love to know more about you, and your culture, and learn to cook a typical local dish from you!
I will be working and visiting on day time and will be available on evenings to meet you and share good moments.
