ABOUT ME
Other than my first name might suggest I am not French but Dutch. I think it's a good thing that my last name makes up for that since my French is rather dramatic.

I'm 26 year old and still think of myself as a student.... who graduated about a year ago.... but a Phd is sort of the same thing anyway! :D

I really enjoy meeting people and listening to stories and ideals of all kinds. I am not a very complicated person and can get along with everyone. I would have liked to travel more already, but I guess I'll just have to majorly increase that in the future (or just right now)! I believe travels belong to the rare things in life that no one can ever take away from you. So they are probably the best investment you can make!

PHILOSOPHY

Traveling experiences are practically the only thing that no one can ever take away from you, therefore never hesitate to go traveling! I don't think a single philosophy is enough to give meaning to the world. So I'll just stick to, "making it up as I go"!

I sincerely enjoy good conversation with people very different to me. Also I believe in the good in humanity and I would like to contribute to my own belief. So far couchsurfing hasn't let me down a single time.

I would like to learn another language next to English and Dutch and I'm always up for new skills or games!

What I can teach is: Dutch, English, Physics, track and field and how to twist a pen around your thumb. (I wouldn't recommend learning the last option this leads to many embarrassing situations when you accidently throw your pen through meetings or lecture rooms. )
