I'm from Reading, PA. I am studying microbial ecology as a PhD student at Virginia Tech. I love to travel, run, hike, play guitar, and knit. I am passionate about protecting the environment and love everything about the ocean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept that couchsurfing provides the opportunity for people to travel regardless of his or her financial circumstances, and it can serve as a platform to connect with people from all over the world. Because at the end of the day, we are all the same species. <3

Interests

I really love to run and will probably try to go running in whatever place I'm visiting. If you have any suggestions or would like to join, that would be super.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm the worst. I don't know much of any language aside from English, but you can definitely practice your English with me! I had a very intense English grammar education. I can also teach you basics in guitar and basics in knitting.

Learn: I would love to learn any language. Languages are so cool! I wish I had dedicated more of my schooling to learning some. I would really appreciate any help with the local language. I also really want to learn how to swing dance.

Share: I have some stories... and hopefully some laughs - but I'm pretty sure I think my jokes are funnier than they actually are.
