ABOUT ME

Well first of all, whenever I get the chance I love to travel, meet new people and learn new languages!! I am a language major and passionate about learning wherever and whenever possible! I enjoy all types of arts, I like trees, parcs, fresh air, meditating, being reflexive and sharing stories, but mostly listening to others...I'm currently an Au Pair for a wonderful family in Paris and having a great time travelling throughout France and seeing as many museums as possible in the mean time...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the change to host yet as I've been travelling for so long that I haven't had a place to myself, but at the same time I can always find friends a cozy spot to crash when in need.

I truly can't wait til I have my own flat to be able to return the favour of all the wonderful Couch Surfers I've met along my journeys.

I've surfed twice in Canada; Montreal and Quebec, and both experiences were FANTASTIC! Then again in France; in Strasbourg and Lyon, and each time i'm left with a great feeling of having gained another friend :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess i'm still new with the whole couch surfing thing, but so far i've had such a great time and met amazing people who have taught me so much about different cultures, languages, and of course, shown me some pretty great times.

I hope to return the favour when I finally settle down somewhere and have a couch of my own!!

兴趣

Art, dancing, singing (anything), playing thre guitar, pretending that I also play the piano, learning new languages, watching movies, travelling, hanging out with friends, playing with kids, swimming, thinking... I do a lot of that... painting, crafts, bicycling around the arc de triomphe or down the champd Elysées... sigh..

For movies, I love the classsics, black and white, the older the better, but I also love Cannes selections and anything with a great soundtrack. My all time favourites probably include: Closer, Garden State, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys, 500 Days of Summer, West Side Story, Running with Scissors, Midnight in Paris, Shutter Island, Gone Baby Gone, Animal House, Dazed and Confuzed, The Virgin Suicides, Rocket Science, Lock Stoc and Two Smoking Barrels, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Fear and Loathing, DOnnie Darko, Rushmore... I could go on

As for Music I like funk, ska, electronic, indie, my all time favourites are RHCP and Sublime but current favourites are The Bird and the Bee, Cat Empire, Little Dragon, Damien Rice, Broken Bells, Kings of Convenience, Chromeo, Metric, Stars...

Whenever I get the time I love to curl up with a good book. I'm working on the french classics right now: Hugo, Balzac, Maupassant, also Camus, Sartre, you know that crowd. I'll never refuse some good Burkowski poetry either :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most recent amazing experience I've had is probably sleeping under the Eiffel Tower, or trekking on the glacier Perito Morreno in Argentina.

Also just living in Argentina for 2 years was quite the experience! I would love to tell you more about it!
