I am a 23 years old physiotherapy student, about to finish my university. I grew up in a little town called Emilio Carranza, but I have been most of my life living in Coatzacoalcos. I spend most of my time between school, hanging out with my gf and my job (I teach english in a university near my place on saturdays) but I always love to receive visitors. I got to know couchsurfing thanks to a great experience with a traveler I knew once my dad arrived home after a trip to Puebla, he found this french guy on the road and gave him a ride. This man did three awesome things for me:
1.- Talked to me about CS
2.- Encouraged me to travel around the world (which had always been my dream but I wasn't really sure on what to do or how to do it)
3.- Motivated me to learn french.
Ever since then, I decided to enter the CS community and become a host to get to know more amazing people like him.
I'm available most of the time, and everytime I can host, I love to do so. It's a great pleasure to me to be able to help travelers to accomplish their dreams.

Soy un estudiante de fisioterapia de 23 años, a poco tiempo de terminar la universidad. Crecí en un pequeño pueblo llamado Emilio Carranza pero he vivido casi toda mi vida en Coatzacoalcos.
Paso la mayor parte de mi tiempo entre la escuela, saliendo con mi novia Silvia y mi trabajo (doy clases de inglés los sábados en una universidad cercana) pero me encanta recibir viajeros!
Conocí Couchsurfing gracias a una gran experiencia con un viajero francés al que mi papá le dio ride una vez que venía de Puebla para Coatzacoalcos.
Él hizo 3 cosas muy importantes por mí:
1.- Me habló de Couchsurfing
2.- Me motivó a viajar por el mundo (lo cual siempre había sido mi sueño "guajiro" pero no sabía qué hacer ni cómo hacerlo)
3.- Me dio valor para aprender francés.
Desde entonces, decidí involucrarme en la comunidad de Couchsurfing y volverme anfitrión para reunir experiencias de otros viajeros geniales que me ayudaran a cumplir mi sueño y ayudarlos al mismo tiempo a ser un paso más en cumplir su sueño.
Hay muchas cosas que quisiera decir, pero las dejaré para cuando nos podamos conocer y compartirlo cara a cara!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing cause I've met some surfers that told me about their experiences and since traveling is something I had always wanted to do, plus this network and I share sort of the same traveling philosophy, I thought I could be a good help for the travelers accomplishing their dreams and a nice guest once I get to travel.

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque conocí a unos viajeros que me compartieron sus experiencias viajando, y ya que viajar es algo que siempre había querido hacer, sumado a que esta red y yo compartimos más o menos la misma filosofía respecto a viajar, pensé que sería una buena ayuda para los viajeros que están cumpliendo sus sueños y un buen huésped cuando sea yo el que viaje.

Interests

I found out traveling for me is not all about the places you visit (even tho it plays an important role), the activities you do outside or how far from home you go... it's about the people you meet, the friends you make, the talks and laughs you have, the meals you share, the points of view you compare, and overall the memories you forge in your head and your heart. Descubrí que viajar para mí no se trata sólo de los lugares que visitas (aunque eso también es importante), las actividades que haces o qué tan lejos de casa estés... •Movies:
I'm not that much of a movie expert nor do I consider myself as a very knowledgeable person when it comes to movies, but the ones I can say have had the most impact in my life have been Shawshank Redemption, the road to El Dorado, Shrek (I quote it on the daily basis), Forrest Gump, and a few others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite adventures was climbing a mountain called Cerro de los Metates, a place a few minutes away from my hometown. It was extremely exciting

Being an inexperienced young guy in most aspects of life, if I can help teaching my language, the few things I've learnt in life and talk about beautiful places to know, I would very gladly do so!

I LOVE learning about people's culture, traditions and ways of thinking. I really
enjoy cooking, it's a passion of mine I very recently discovered, so everything about cooking I can learn is very well appreciated.
