ABOUT ME

IT custom software development business owner for 25 years, (was INC 500) now IT strategy consultant, trying to keep the old bones moving so they keep working, to keep learning new things and meeting new people. Long bike rides and hosting surfers will help me do all of the above with seeing new things, people, and keeping the miles behind me piling up.

PHILOSOPHY

A bit of Zen in that I think one should feel and act totally responsible for the world, but mostly live and let live others who honestly see the world differently. Take care of ones self, encourage goodness in the world, and be very careful about judging others who's stories we don't know.

Hosting in the Boston area and couch surfing and camping on long bike rides.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a great guy walking cross country. A planned trip to Maine will be my first couch surfing try. Plann to bike from Boston to Colorado Springs summer of '14, then to Albequerque to see my daughter, granddaughters and sister next summer. Couch surfing could make it lots more fun, I think. Hitch hiked around Europe and couch surfed with lots of people who'd pick me up. Was great fun and a real adventure.

Married and stayed married to a wonderful and strong woman. Two kids and two granddaughters who make life rich with love. Hitch hiked around Europe and spent nearly all my money at the begining of the trip in Amsterdam. Camped the rest of the way. Started and ran my own business for 25 years(INC 500, one of the 500 fastest growing US businesses).
