About Me

Get in loser, let's go on an adventure!

25 year old Aussie, have fun, explore, eat weird food, make friends. Left home in 2015 and started living out of my ex's schoolbag to see as much of our world as these lazy legs will allow.

Let's go find some treasure

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To rob people all over the world of all their possessions and stuff them in my tiny bag, of course

Interests

Differential calculus

That was meant to be a joke but in hindsight, I actually do kind of enjoy that. Don't judge. More relevant interests:
Eating!!!, hiking, freediving, surfing, doing nothing for extended periods of time, yoga, tea, motorbikes, team sports (badminton, volleyball), expelling rectal gases.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Kendrick Lamar is my religion

Movies: Outside of Studio Ghibli (Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away etc, love you Miyazaki ❤), I pretty much haven't seen anything unless it has Vin Diesel in it. That leaves a lot to be desired.

Books: Philosophy, adventure, comedy, Calvin and Hobbes, books about dogs. I really appreciate a book that will make me think, change or re-evaluate my beliefs or just give me a good chuckle.
I've recently discovered that books are great at taking up room in my bag too. If you have any particularly heavy or large volumes, please feel free to pass them on! My spine still has a couple of working vertebrae I'd like to crush.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally destroying our car driving down a mountain in the Arctic Circle, then stopping while towing it home to swim in a frozen lake and watch the Aurora Borealis with the film-maker for ABBA.

That was a time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages, jokes, new kinds of movement (acro/yoga/calisthenics...get your mind out of the gutter mate)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bad games of chess and even worse jokes.

Eg: what thinks the unthinkable?

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Australia, Belgium, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, China, Indonesia
