About Me
I was a middle school in high school industrial arts/woodshop teacher for 10 years. The next 35 years I was in commercial real estate and ended up buying the business.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel with my wife and combining travel plans with camping and staying with hosts throughout the United States. Travel opportunities are expanded by saving hotel/motel costs, allowing you to travel more often.
Interests
Kayaking, canoeing, wave skiing, spearfishing, cycling, meeting new people, reading nonfiction books, dancing, writing, poetry, helping the disadvantaged, marginalized, under represented and disenfranchised youth
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy classical music, country western and enjoy reading nonfiction books. I enjoy documentary and adventure related movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have traveled throughout Europe, hitchhiking in 22 countries. I have been around the world twice working on the Semester at Sea with Chapman college. I have been involved with your life for some 50 years and now doing feeling anthropic work for the homeless, the drug and alcohol, addicted, veterans, a battered and abused, the mentally ill, and those that are hopeless or depressed. I raise money for the Homeless Teen Help program in Orange County.
