About Me
)l
The basics:
... Im a 27 year old Irish student living in in Dublin (previouslyGalway) cliché Irish guy. Drink a little too much and i enjoy banter and chatting about absolutely anything over a pint.
Simply interested in meeting some random people for bit of banter(I might let you pay back the favour at some point in future too if you can and decide to travel again this summer)
What languages do I speak??
I Speak English fluently. I also speak a bit of Irish and roughly 3/4 out of 10 Spanish
Things I love?
Italian food, writing, dogs, warm climates, gaelic football ( no it's not soccer), MMA, family, friends, big on history, philosophy, psychology; cultural differences, literature, Thomas Shelby and Game of Thrones and if course pints.
Things I don't love?
Aeroplanes ( I watched to much aircrash investigation as a kid), rain and getting lost alone with a low battery.
Foods?
Italian , Chinese, mc donalds, ice cream, asian food, Thai, Irish...Just not anything that lives in the sea or snails and frogs, sorry France.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Without sounding cliche, to meet other travelers and experience new experiences...what ever exactly that is! Mostly to hear other people's life stories and just see what comes of it.
Also because I may want to stay at the houses of people I host in the far future when I'm traveling Europe over summer maybe :) but don't feel obliged. I won't be travelling everywhere

Music, Movies, and Books
Tv shows:Game of thrones, narcos, Peaky blinders
Movies: The wind that shakes the barley, taken
Music: All popular indie pop. Mix mash of Ed sheeran to Eminem and cheesy stuff too. Anything you can sing in the shower! But have a strongly nationalistic love of Irish folk and rebel music
Books: Skins, the Dubliners, Jordan Peterson 12 steps.... anything mentally more challenging than 50 shades of grey but not Ulysses level.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
*Travelled to Bulgaria trains/buses and boats from Ireland without getting a plane.
*A girl once stayed with me on couchsurfing for a week on holiday from Italy. She was still there a month later. She became my girlfriend and we lived together for a year. But sadly now my ex😂still a cool story
*Ate cornflakes with uhc milk
*Got drunk with Sinead Harnett at a house party in London in 2014. She's not that famous but It's my only claim to fame
*Spent a week in a tiny Bavarian town doing Bavarian things... Beer. Eat. Beer
*Met a holocaust survivor and heard him speak for hours about the horrors. Surreal.
*Went to high school in America for a month. Met the jocks and cheerleaders. . went to prom, spiked the punch. Joined the football team. Won the state championships.. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story and all that.😂
*Doing my thesis on online dating behaviour, I kid you not.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:If history doesn't send you to sleep, I've a degree in it if you're interested in knowing any of that kind of stuff. And English literature. I also currently study psychology so if that's of interest too.... But if they bore you tell me shut up simple.
