I am a mostly retirement consultant with a strong wander lust, particularly where there are big mountains. In the past three years I have been: trekking in the Himalayas; climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and been to Mt Elbrus in Russia.

Interested in people from around the world. Interested in exploring the world, especially nature in big mountains, waterfalls and beaches with warm water in which to swim.

Travelling , walking hiking and general outdoor pursuits. Sport - Orienteering (active participant in events in six countries) and football - retired player, coach and referee. Photography especially nature and my travels are well documented in books that I self publish.
Gardening - especially vegetables.
Swimming at the beach - warm water preferred.
