About Me

I'm what most would describe as a social butterfly, I deeply enjoy meeting and getting to know people. I feel that through great conversations over a meal friendships are really made. I grew up around a very typical latino family, very traditional in every sense of the word. However, growing up in the US also allowed me to pursue many hobbies outside my culture. I grew up playing the piano, racing motorcycles, and just last year I was working towards getting my helicopter license. In essence I have a sheer thirst for life and experiencing as much of it as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be perfectly honest, I was actually referred by a friend of mine who used this site to travel Europe for about a month. In the pursuit of traveling the world, I hope I can also share my happy go lucky personality and my latino culture. I'm excited about the prospect of experiencing firsthand what/how families live in other countries. I'd also really love to learn French and Italian, i think being in an environment where those are the primary languages I can practice them consistently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I feel i've done is flying a helicopter. It's actually quite difficult to take off and land, however, being able to keep that thing in one place or "hover" is far more complicated. Or at least, it feels far more complicated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share anything I can with hosts, from stories about my life, to recipes from my grandma. Perhaps even teach a little bit about my career and how to get into engineering in the silicon valley.
