Hi everyone, I'm Alan. I'm 35 and I'm from Córdoba, Argentina. I recently moved to Hemel Hempstead. I came to the UK in 2020, and I now work in a local secondary school teaching Spanish.

I'm a quiet, easy-going person who enjoys the balance of quietness at home and the adventure and spontaneity of the outdoors. I love music and I consider myself an enthusiastic (and primitive) guitarist! I'm still dreaming of being thrown back to the 60s or 70s one day but as always, it's a dream! I'm also fond of acoustic guitars, pedals, amps or gear in general so it's always a pleasure to exchange conversations about this stuff with people.

My very few experiences with surfers in Europe were great, so I now decided to open my place and meet travellers, or just want to hang out for a while. I won't overload this post with restrictions/rules: surfers with good references, please do send your request to stay, stating very clearly your needs and we can discuss anything further. It may happen that, for personal reasons, I can't hang out that much with you, or I can't host you.

An inflatable mattress in a decent private room is ready for you to use, alongside a shared kitchen and bathroom. I live with another housemate so bear in mind that we are two people in the house. We also have a garden.

A note - Unsure whether this is relevant to you or not: I'm a straight man but any person is very welcome to my place regardless of nationality, gender, sexual orientation or beliefs. A private room will be reserved for you, so you'll get yourself decent privacy.

Like other members, I used to have many more positive references on my profile before, but I really don't know what happened with them. So, I hope that those few give you a hint about my previous experiences with travellers.
