About Me

I am a frequent traveller, I love exploring places, cultures, food and meeting new people. I've travelled quite a bit already and have a lot of stories to tell. I love meeting new people, knowing their stories and having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on a long term hopping trip around India this year and couchsurfing is one of the few ways I'll get to know lots of people, have fun, make friends and save some money ;)

Interests

Travelling, food, people, science, movies, reading, clicking photographs, trekking, talking for hours, politics, history and social science, just about anything interesting. Anime!

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic Rock, Electronic Trap, Alternative are my favorite music genres, though I occasionally listen to western classical music.
The Smiths is my favorite band, Diplo and Kygo are my current favorites in electronic music. I also listen to tons of post rock. Alternative - Poets of the Fall - awesome Finnish band!

I read tons of books of all kinds. Currently reading The Guns of August a Pulitzer prize winning historical nonfiction book documenting the first World War.

I am a total Cinephile (almost addictively so). I see a movie every week in the cinemas if I can. I have too many favorites to count, so I'll refrain mentioning one. But Spielberg, Scorcese, Hitchcock, Kurosawa, Tarkowsky, Fincher are some of my favorite classical directors of old. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen many amazing things, one amazing thing I've done is I've visited almost every UNESCO world heritage site in western Europe. I've also survived a forest fire and remained stuck in a claustrophobic cave for over two days on few resources.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach mathematics and science, beginners French, expert English.
I would love to learn Japanese, cooking local cuisines, exchange thoughts on culture and about everything else interesting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer tons of stories, awesome experiences, my perspective on the world, a fun filled time and a new friend :)
