About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently on my way hitchhiking/travelling across the United States!
ABOUT ME
Hello!
Like my profile says, I was born and raised on the East coast of Canada in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. I moved up to Ontario, Canada to finish high school and the resulting degree in Urban Planning, under the Environmental Studies umbrella of the University of Waterloo. Ever since then I've been working and traveling around British Columbia and the rest of Canada. With the winter fast approaching I've continued my travels south to see areas of the United States that have always fascinated me.
I am a relatable and easy-going individual who loves a good, frank exchange of ideas. My number one passion is music, both listening and playing. I am clean (despite my dirty treeplanting picture) and am respectful of the places in which I stay. Hope to meet up with you soon!
PHILOSOPHY
If you are open, people will be open with you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I am currently travelling, my couchsurfing participation is purely 'surfing'. Once I get settled away out West, I plan to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted in a few locations now and have enjoyed every one for different reasons. Everyone has something unique to offer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yelling "Hey Queenie!" to Queen Elizabeth when I was 7 and having her smile and wave at me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am hoping to write about my experiences being on the road and in a different country - one that is both similar and very different from my own. What I can provide is a very honest perspective / expression of where I am from and who I am, what has led me to go on this trip and what I have learned from the many people I have already met. This has already been extremely educational and I am hope to be able to give back as much as I have received.
I'm also wicked funny, if humour's your thing.
Oh and I'm pretty decent at origami.
