Travelling solo for 4 months!

ABOUT ME

Hey! So the band I play in have been on a long travelling break for the last few months seeing the world. Music is my main focus back in Melbourne, but I also do design work too.

It's been really liberating and eye opening to be travelling on my own for all this time, and it's given me the opportunity to meet lots of fantastic people around the world. I'm up for hanging out, very easy going and just wanna keep up with seeing new cities with locals rather than staying in hostels so I can see the real side of the places that I visit.

I'm laidback, curious, respectful, excited, low maintenance, but most of all I like to have a laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

Just treat everyone the same as you would like to be, we're all in it together. People just need to be genuine!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only just joined CS but I've been exposed to it for a long time. Heaps of friends have always recommended it to me and I've stayed in houses in Melbourne with couchsurfers. The last 3 weeks me and 2 other friends have been sleeping couches throughout Europe, and it's really exceeded my expectations, I don't think I could really travel any other way now, everyone has been so amazing!

Intereses

Playing music is easily #1, we're very committed to that in Melbourne. I studied design too so I've always been really into and involved with that too. I also play football back home (which I really miss travelling).

Spending a bunch of time with friends and new people, just sharing experiences together.

I'm also very interested in culture (music, art, film, people), history, people's stories and everything in between.

Radiohead, Portishead, Grizzly Bear... Really too many to list, but I'll listen to more or less anything. Very open minded with creative things really, as long as they're trying to do something interesting that's fine by me

Currently reading "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts, it's the perfect book when travelling!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Climbing a waterfall in remote Western Turkey and overlooking a massive valley, took me a while to peel myself away from that! And paragliding is incredible! I couldn't believe how relaxing it was...
