CURRENT MISSION
One of the sayings that was popular in the 60s was "you are what you eat." I like to say, "you are what you experience."

My politics are progressive, but I consider myself to be open-minded as well as a good listener (it's in my training). I can "pick" the guitar and mandolin pretty well. I also love indie films, a good book, interesting conversation, "ethnic" food, and dogs. I believe that having a sense humor is essential to a good quality of life.

PHILOSOPHY
Humanism (secular or religious) is a good place to start. I blend that with progressive politics (I spent much of 2016 working for Bernie -- and I'm up for 2020 if he's up for it; we've got a lot of work to do in the states to come out of the scary and disconcerting Twilight Zone episode we've fallen into after the last election!).
