About Me

PLEASE DON’T SEND REQUESTS MORE THAN A MONTH IN ADVANCE

My philosophy could well be summarised by José Mujica's quote: humanity is our us ("la humanidad es nuestro nosotros"). What I mean is that we're all in this together, no matter our beliefs or where we come from. Therefore, I see people as potential friends.

Some days ago, some friends and I started sharing a top-ten list of things that make us happy in a WhatsApp group—we had recently been quite negative-minded and that helped us a lot to change our mood. So here it is, ten things that make me happy (or that make me realise that I am already happy):
1. My father's paella. (Always delicious and enough to feed you for an entire week—just like Elven lembas bread from the Lord of the Rings)
2. The first sip of Nestea on a warm day.
3. Dancing "Girls just wanna have fun"
4. Indian trains (and when the sun sets and the train runs slowly, opening the door and letting the wind blow back your hair... you can picture it, right?)
5. A perfect morning at a "Bar Manolo" in Barcelona: a delicious "bocadillo", a strong espresso and a good read.
6. Singing Green Day with my sister while driving.
7. Airports as life’s punctuation marks.
8. Laughing with a friend of something ridiculous and inscrutable to the rest of humanity
9. Feeling the sun on my face in winter (something I discovered while living in Denmark).
10. Uchi Mata ippon. (Judo stuff, if you're interested don't miss this:

I was there. I'm not crazy. Really. I'm not.

I love eating. Therefore, I love cooking. I don't want to seem vain, but my spanish tortilla is legendary.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love playing the guitar (although I'm not really good), playing the piano (although I only play a couple of Beatles songs) and cooking (although your kitchen will look like a battlefield afterwards —but don't worry, I'll clean it!)
