I’m a 24 year old student from the Netherlands. I’m currently in Madrid, Spain. I will be back in the Netherlands soon :).

Before I became a student I’ve spent some time traveling/working abroad. I worked as an au pair (nanny) in France, England (x2) and Spain (x2) .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

(Not in Utrecht at the moment - sorry!)

I live in Utrecht at the moment and I am willing to host people. (Read the "my home" information bit before sending me a message :-). I am on couchsurfing because I think it's a nice platform to meet new people and share experiences. You get to really meet up with locals and not only see the city as a tourist but especially see the city as a local and meet people that you might not have met otherwise. I haven't had much experience using the couchsurfing website but have had experiences similiar to couchsurfing.

Interests

I love discovering new places. I try to take loads of pictures and videos - not to be the awkward tourist but I love capturing moments.

Saved a child from drowning (true story, happened when I was working in France).

I can help you with your Dutch (and maybe your English if you are a beginner as my English isn't perfect at all). Furthermore I can tell you what life is like in the Netherlands and London, UK.

I would want to write here how great my cooking skills are but unfortunately they are not. So mostly I can share with you my stories, experiences, view on life and of course return the favor when you want to visit the Netherlands!
