ABOUT ME

My wife Jana and I are a couple from Seattle, WA. We love new adventures, meeting new people, trying new foods, discovering new music, etc. We have a love for the great outdoors and all the recreation that can be found there like hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing, snow-shoeing, bird watching and good old-fashioned solitude. We also have a great deal of love for the city, particularly aesthetically pleasing ones with sincere people and great food! Most importantly we are a couple easy going people who can get along with just about anyone, anywhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted some great surfers and had some incredible experiences doing some surfing of our own. Looking forward to the next one.

Interests

We work hard so we like to make sure we find time to relax when some time for leisure does arrive. Then once the batteries are recharged we enjoy learning how to cook all kinds of new things, going out and experiencing new cuisines, drinking some good micro-brews and wines, getting out to see some live bands and attending M's, Hawks, Sounders and T-Birds games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our recent trip to India, South Korea and Hong Kong was one that will not soon be forgotten. Besides the epic adventure, perhaps the most impactful element was that it instilled in us a new sense of experience, know-how and confidence when it comes to world travel. Couch Surfing absolutely made the experience better.
