Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm not traveling, I thoroughly enjoy doing my part by adding one more couch to the ranks. I want to help eliminate the need for insulating hotel-esque accommodation while traveling in order to encourage the excessive and unabashed exploration of our planet and the lovely human beings that live on its surface.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had mounds of extremely positive CouchSurfing experiences, both surfing and hosting. I like the world even more now than I did when I started. Heck yes, CS.

Biking, skiing, hitchhiking, ping pong, sociology, sledding, user experience design, swimming across ponds, hiking, writing, longboarding, Twitter (just happened to me), website design, urban backpacking, eating foods I've never eaten before, whatever you're interested in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staged a weekend urban backpacking expedition to New York City. We camped in Central Park, watched the band Amadou and Mariam, caught a glimpse of the elusive hummingbird moth, and learned to line dance in a dive bar.
