ABOUT ME

Wow, it's been a long time since we were on here, so everything here a bit dated. But to be honest, other than now having two boys not that much has changed.

Al being from Australia, and Laina from America, we met in Japan, and have been journeying together ever since. We are both passionate about travel, photography, culture, reading, nature, the environment, and life in general. Currently living in New York, we are looking forward to a bit of "stillness" as we develop new facets in the strange little world we like to live in.

Hiking Mt. Fuji (twice...) during the middle of the night, to arrive at the summit just before 4am, and an hour later watch one of the most amazing sunrises either of us have ever witnessed. sharing it with beautiful people, devouring noodle soup at the bottom and falling asleep in the grasses near Kawaguchiko.

Laina is keen on photography, beading, and yoga amongst many other varied and sporadic hobbies. She is open to sharing anything from herself anyone else may value...

Al is into learning about and studying up on sustainable living, green building, and renewable energy. He likes to build things and work with his hands; tinkering around with various projects.
