ABOUT ME

I endeavor to be kind and funny. I think most would also consider me to be a nerd. I'm originally from a small town in Idaho, came to Los Angeles for college, and have studied and lived in Nepal (I've gone several times, adding up to two years). Now I've started my career in maternal and child health at a non-profit hospital in LA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch-surfing; my best friend from Idaho has hosted and surfed all over the world and has encouraged me to join in.

Interests

I enjoy reading novels, and keeping up on news about global health and women's/social justice issues (my career), and all things related to Nepal and Nepalese culture. I also like to help others plan travel itineraries, and learn how to do their own taxes and immigration forms.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in the Arabian Sea in Kerala when dolphins went swimming by. Watching the sun rise against the Himalayas at Nagarkot in Nepal. The sun turning the ocean water turquoise green along the Big Sur coast.

I can cook Nepali food (vegetarian) and share what I have learned about Nepal, and global maternal health.
