About Me
Hi! I’m Alaniz :)
I’m a 26-year-old Mexican currently working helping young people who want to study abroad (a job I really enjoy, it mixes education, dreams, and passports).
I speak both English and Spanish.
Art is my safe space: I draw, paint, and experiment… and lately, I’ve also been practicing the noble art of not really knowing what I want to do with my life (and honestly, I’m okay with that).
I love slow, meaningful conversations, music that makes you feel something, cats with strong personalities, and being in nature. I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about how people live and think in different parts of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love the idea of traveling by connecting with real people, not just places. I believe sharing space, even for a short time, can lead to beautiful, funny, or unexpected exchanges. I don’t need luxury, just good vibes and a safe corner to rest and share a little slice of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, meaningful conversations, and a lot of respect for your space. I enjoy sharing, listening, and going with the flow whether that means cooking something simple, joining you for a walk, helping out with your pet, especially cats, love them! or just enjoying a quiet moment.
I can offer a different perspective from the south of Mexico, share music, art, stories, or just let the connection unfold naturally. I’m also happy to help with practical things if needed. I’m observant, tidy, and I genuinely like making people feel comfortable.
More than anything, I try to be the kind of guest who adds to the space, not interrupts it :)
