ABOUT ME

Artist, writer, jewelry designer living in Bali for the last twenty-two years. Being creative is my life's blood.

I write a recipe column for the Bali Advertiser and just finished a memoir called "Piece by Piece" Bali, Dreams and the Land of Alzheimer's.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met several CS people for a drink or a meal on my trip to Italy in Aug. 2010 and had wonderful experiences. Now I am meeting CSers here in Ubud, Bali.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the 80's I was a member of Servas and met many intersting people in my travels.

Creative pursuits of photography, painting, writing, and cooking. I like to meet people and hear their stories and I like travel, to study Italian - I have a passion for that language and culture!

I like an eclectic mix of music,literature and film. Some of my favorite films are Cinema Paradiso, Baghdad Cafe, The Waitress, The Great Lebowski, Resurrection...these just scratch the surface.

Just being alive on this planet is pretty amazing...brushing past a dewy leaf and letting the moisture roll lazily down my arm....these are moments to cherish.

Taking care of my mother with my sister and husband for the last four months of her life - giving her the space for a gentle exit. It was an honor to be there for her like that.
