Hi! I'm an engineer doing my best to work on meaningful projects. I love the feeling of making things, but the process of creating something is way more fun than finishing, so I have a whole closet of half finished projects. I think there's probably an important life metaphor in there somewhere, but I'm not sure.

When I can't be traveling myself it's great to get a little slice of the fun by hosting someone who's on their own journey.

I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I used to live in a flat in Scotland where we would host couch surfers almost daily (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/agoodplacetostay/). More recently I've hosted in California and surfed a bit too.

I really like Sci-Fi in general. Sadly, I haven't been reading as much lately as I should.

I enjoy most music genres. I usually stream music and that tends to result in my daily soundtrack getting into a rut. What music do you love? I'd like to expand my catalog.
