I'm Mexican and I currently study at Brown University in the US. I love visiting new cultures and countries. My goals while traveling is to avoid feeling like a tourist. I like getting involved in the places that I go to: finding local (maybe family owned) food-spots, going to art performances, sightseeing, trying traditional foods, and refraining from buying too many souvenirs.

Although I'm a novel traveler, I'm eager to meet new people and getting involved in their culture. Tell me what you like about your country, but also what you think can improve. Let's chat about international politics, philosophy, art, literature, food...really anything is an invaluable learning experience!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At college, my best friends come from Korea, Brazil, Italy, Morocco, and Bangladesh. I love making friends from all over the world and share about our experiences and cultures. I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd love to meet people that, like me, appreciate the value of intercultural learning. I'd love to immerse myself in the local cultures of the places I visit.
