Overview
About Me
I'm super passionate about using my life to rebel against what I don't believe in, and to build up what I care about. I do a little development work - just in Malawi right now but looking at a new project in Nicaragua - but at this point in my life I'm mostly trying to find like-minded people, because with a team I can get so much more done. I try to study hard during the year and travel in the summer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is my aggressive way to make friends in Montreal and, if dreams come true, find someone who wants to be a part of the work I do. I am really looking forward to recharging by living out of a bag or two and cutting out what doesn't matter to me. Oh, and I definitely appreciate the money saved on rent!
Interests
I like to be thrifty, I enjoy a good library, I'm trying to make my lifestyle more active, and I'd like to get back into vegetarianism! There's so much more to say but hopefully that paints some kind of picture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Plays: Death of a Salesman, A Doll's House (original), Hamlet (live!)
Movies: Pulp Fiction, Office Space, Schindler's List
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the Somoto Canyon in Nicaragua was probably the most amazing touristy thing I did. I had so much fun, swimming and climbing rocks, cliff diving, eating guayava and admiring the geology, I would recommend it to everyone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a decent cook, good at personal finance, and I could teach basic Spanish. I can tell you a lot about Malawi and Nicaragua, world issues and how to tell if a charity is any good.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to cook when I'm hosted by someone, and I'm a tidy, kind guest. Like I said above, I can teach basic Spanish and I would love to answer any questions you have about international development, or anything else I have experience with.
