I am a pretty relaxed down to earth person. I travel around working for different theater companies that are looking for a Props Master or Props Artisan. So I love being able to work and play at the same time (when I have a free moment).

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Right now I am between work contracts and I have 6 weeks free from a work commitment. SO I decided to travel! I got the travel bug from going different places for work all the time and I really enjoy seeing new places and experiencing different people, cultures, geographies, climates.... I figure there is a lot of the world to see and I'm not getting any younger so hey why not now!

Centres d'intérêt

I really like going and seeing what is happening in the location that I am in, for example little food festivals, art shows, free concerts.. I really enjoy outdoor activities. I like walking around and taking in the sights of an environment.

I like looking at art, I would consider myself a crafts person/artist, but in no way a fine artist. I enjoy going to musicals, plays, coffee houses. Listening to open mics.

I like going on hikes but have never gone on a strenuous hike. (I am not serious enough to own hiking boots)

Roller coasters, Kites, Gardening, Cooking, reading short articles on the internet, I love being in the sun.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music:
I enjoy pop music mostly, and some electronic dance music artists. I like acoustic songs, piano music, I definitely depends on my mood but I like most music. I don't really like classic (sort of twangy) country music and screamy rock.
Some of my favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Avicii, Jimmy Buffett, Grateful Dead (I blame my parents) Vanessa Carlton, Ellie Goulding, Disney Songs, Les Miserables (the musical) soundtrack....

Movies:
I don't really watch many movies. I do like Disney, Pixar, chick flicks, documentaries, documentaries about food, TedTalks, historical tv/netflix series like Call the Midwife, Bombgirls, Landgirls, The Paradise Hotel..

Books:
I don't read much. :( I know I should. I read little articles more often then I read books. But I do like Nicholas Sparks books...and Eat Pray Love (loved reading about all of the travel she did)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The only "amazing thing" that I can think of is, when I was maybe 6 and my sister was 4 I pulled her out of the ocean when she was underwater and probably about to drown. I don't remember it but the story lives on. :)

I can talk about my experience working in the technical side of theatre.
I am a GREAT listener. Many people end up confiding in me. Sometimes people just need to have someone listen to them. (I'm not a good advice giver though)
