About Me
*WE BOTH ARE FULLY VAXXED*
A 30 year old mom, feminist, and esthetician. I work at Rescue Spa in Center City, Philadelphia. I'm an overall awkward girl, but trying to expand myself and my mind, and my social circle. I love meditating, yoga, audiobooks, and any kind of holistic treatments. We love football and we’re huge Eagles fans. We love riding motorcycles. I have the coolest, not awkward at all, boyfriend named Joe. We have a son named River, and a dog named Bully. We live in a cute lil house that is always under some sort of construction. We’re located 2 hours north of washington DC, 25 minutes outside of Philadelphia, and 2 hours south of New York City. If you are traveling up the east coast and want to stay in a suburban area, with easy train access to major cities, you are more than welcome to stay with us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I - like most other young adults on here - want to travel, but being a broke 30s something, don't always have the means. I also like going more local when I travel..I want to feel what it's like to LIVE in an area, not be a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
Type O Negative, Alkaline Trio, Gorilla Biscuits, anything Oi and '69 ska, or anything loud and heavy. I'm still stuck in my goth phase, but I'm a sucker for outlaw country and pop punk. The books "The Alchemist" and "The Secret" changed my life. I love horror movies (I have an unhealthy obsession with Halloween and Michael Myers), and B rated horror movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been battling fibromyalgia, and a very rare autoimmune disease my entire life, although it sets me back some, it will never ever stop me. It didn't stop me from finishing school, or working, or having fun, and it won't stop me from traveling and doing the things that I love.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a killer winged eyeliner, FX make up, anything about skin care, and some useless information about some popular horror movies. I love the idea of making my house self sustainable. I already have a compost and want to get chickens! I like playing ukulele and am so nervous to do it in front of anyone. I want to learn more Spanish (i'd like to learn more than just "hola, yo necesito mesa quatro" or "necesito dos pan, por favor - can you tell i was a server?). I can share the fact we have the best pizza, water ice, tasty cakes, and cheese steaks with in 25 minutes of my house, which you can only get in this area.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We'll can either bring you along to stuff we do, like my boyfriend's family's bar, our friends house to hang out, or you can take the train into Philadelphia and you can do your own thing. We're totally open to hanging out and showing you how we live in suburban Philly.
