The short: enthusiastic about life. open to new experiences. mindful. passionate and to the point. strong, yet subtle. observant and creative. silly and serious. energetic.

The longer: mycelial maven craving encounters with fungi. craftsperson looking for knowledge and new ideas. moving through the physical realm with eyes always open. concerned with the visual experience. the perception of time. dancing until you forget your body. resourcefulness. pushing limits and expanding boundaries. asking for forgiveness before permission. trying to make a difference. appreciating the sensual. Dreams, darkness, superstition. stories memories and moments. i have a deep love for objects. old musty objects, cast aways, treasures. always on the hunt. the used, abused, reborn. nature hearted, wilderness bound. solitude. energy and bustle. the feeling in your limbs that rises to the surface when realities intersect. time to go for a run. the wind on my face. the rustle of trees, smells of soil. oil paint. cherry wood under a chisel's edge. fabrics, silks, cheesecloths soaked in solutions, making potions. charcoal on my fingertips most days. wild eyes, seeking surprise. reinventing oneself, with aid of objects on memory's shelf. avoiding accountant's truth. this is just the beginning.

trying new foods, mushroom hunting, cooking, physical activity, medical science and gross anatomy, the human figure, outdoors, reading and writing, getting my groove on, asking questions, exploring environments and interiors, theatre, literature, set design, fine woodworking, painting, sculpture, materials, discovering art, long journeys, wide open spaces.
