Born to a British and Bahamian parents, I am a Bahamian who falls in love with her country all over again, everyday.

I am all about adventure, exploring and riding the roller coaster of life with my hands in the air. However, I make time for moments of peace, reflection and gratitude. I am organised, yet free spirited. I am always planning, yet spontaneous. My glass is half full, be it rum or water, and the journey is most important, not the finish line.

My boyfriend (Theo Hutcheson) has been a member of this site for at least 7 years and together we have hosted several CouchSurfers. Skeptical at first, I was unsure about hosting strangers, but I have really grown to understand the concept behind it all, and I truly admire those who travel to experience the real customs, the real people and the real experiences to be had in a new place.

I am currently studying in the US and he suggested I give Couch Surfing a try so I may have my own adventures as well as make amazing connections like he has.

I have kayaked for 8 consecutive days around the southern part of the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. I will do this again soon.
