I quit my job to embark on 9 months of travel and have just arrived in Australia after a 2month glorified beach holiday in Thailand.

I'm a pretty easy going person, very comfortable in my own company but also love meeting new people. I'm keen to explore Melbourne and maybe get off the beaten tourist track.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to get stuck in hostels with a load of other backpackers; I've come to Australia to experience Aussie life and what better way than staying with a local.

Varied (!)- Scuba diving, Ballet, cooking, enjoying a nice glass of red with good cheese and good company, cold beers on hot days, 5pm G&Ts... Not an alcoholic though... Really...
