Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Alan.
Having a good conversation with someone with a nice and hot cup of coffee in my hands is the must for me. I really enjoy sharing life experiences and having cultural exchanges. Besides that, I like to talk about politics, video games, ethics in technology and pop culture (I claim myself a meme teacher, because I catch myself explaining the origin of these sometimes).
I am also a reasonable cooker - I can say I try hard to make something edible and tasty haha... If you don't believe me, the proof is the fact I am a Taurus. So... There is no arguments against this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing simply because I think we live in a society where is getting tougher to get vulnerable to someone else, and hosting or being hosted are interesting ways to overcome that and maybe find really great friendly connections. Having a sense community which aims a common goal is necessary social beings like us.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually set a "Trip hop" playlist on my Spotify, so I don't really pay attention to the names of the songs.
I enjoy watching TV Shows and Lost, Dexter, Daredevil and The world of Gumball are my favorites.
For now, I am watching "Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World" written by the scientist Jane McGonigal.
