About Me

I can't host you cause I'm in Paris, and I literally am a homeless now. So :)

Hi there! I'm Alara from Turkey. More than 4 years I was living at İstanbul untill this august. I'm a 22 years old philosophy student who is just moved to Paris after first visit.
It's really hard to describe myself in a website, I couldn't even find a nickname by now on the social networks :) I just can say that I'm a happy person in life. There should be a really good reason to be unhappy or doomy for me. For more details I think you have to meet me :)

I was at Galatasaray Univesity, but I quited, and applied to Sorbonne for philosophy depertment again. For 1 year, I was using my free time which didn't go well though. Whatever, I'm ready to traveling :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is a great programm I heard which agrees with me :) also this is the best way I can imagine to get to know a new culture and make new friends.

I believe to spend a huge amount of money just for staying is ridiculous besides like I said I'm a college student which means I've have limited financial resources.

If you're available too I'd love to sleep on your couch during my visit in your city and hang out with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't say anything about my favorites cause I don't believe that I can separate them...
Except maybe Tarantino, he is just a crazy man!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After my highschool graduation my sister and I, we have walked through the Lycian Way and visited the south coast of Turkey by foot on a journey that has lasted for 1,5 months.

A year after we hitchhiked through the East for another 1,5 months and explored the mysterious lands of Kurdistan.

Summer 2015, I explored some Europeen spots. For an other 1.5 months. It was exhausted, boring but amazing trip. I mostly used couchsurfing and blablacar, met lots of people, discovered cultures and good local bars :)

And I must say that all of my expriences were life changing. Cause I basically felt in love with traveling, who could, would help it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can just keep learning about anything for living, It is the most important thing for people. Cause we have an useful brain, right?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because of I'm a philosophy student I kinda see "thinking" as my job, as to do so I have to discover new aspects and views in my life. So I love meeting new people and I can share my expriences with my hosts and have endless conversations about anything.
