Overview
About Me
I have recently finished my university studies and am now taking the opportunity to travel before starting a career in engineering.
I am a pretty easy going character and am always ready to learn new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have found from previous travels that the best way to get to know a country, it's history and it's culture is to stay with local people
Interests
Being brought up in Scotland I gained a love for hiking from a young age and my love for it has only grown. I have been fortunate enough to be able to hike in some amazing countries all over the world.
I have also have a love for anything done on the water, whether it be swimming, kayaking, diving, or anything similar.
I'm always eager to try new activities too!
- hiking
- water sports
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite book would be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I love films but one of my favourites is "Lawless" which is about the American prohibition
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pick just one of the amazing things I've seen but I guess one that might stand out is when I summited Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest point and the world's highest freestanding mountain).

I like to think I'm a fairly decent cook and I have some funny stories to share.
