ABOUT ME

I am a free person in every sense of the word. When I graduated from high school instead of going to college I flew from Orange County California (My Birthplace) to Frankfurt Germany - I spent a year bike touring through 8 countries and was in Berlin when The Wall came down. I returned to California only to head out for Alaska in August of the next year. I cycled from Fairbanks AK to Pendelton OR in about 45 days then returned to Alaska "just to spend the winter" I never left there. I made Alaska my new home and loved it - hated to even go on vacation anywhere else until 15 years later when I went to Hawaii for the first time and discovered scuba diving. I went home sold my business, sold my realestate and quit my job and got divorced. I went back to Hawaii and bike toured all the islands and got my scuba ceritfication. Since then, I have been diving in Mexico, Belize, California and all over Hawaii. When I am home I take in travelers. In 2008 I biked from Eugene, OR to Newport Beach, CA. I was born in 1971. I have 5 kids ages 15 to 4 year who live in Alaska. I was in the Car business for 10 years and I owned Alaska Computer Doctor for 7 years. I used to be a meat cutter and had a snow removal business in Alaska as well. I am fun and smart and encouraging and my frineds love me.

PHILOSOPHY

I am here to inspire and encourage people to their next level - to show that if I can do it anyone can do anything they want. To put my "philosophy" in one sentance....might be tough - but "We are all vibrational and like attracts like"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I host - my home is your home. When I am in Alaska I have been know to bring home travelers with me and feed them and house them and give them tours of Alaska. I PAY IT FORWARD

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been on the site since Sept 2008 had some very nice experiences with couch surfers - in my travels people have been so generous with me that I have returned the favor at every opportunity - sometimes its buying a random stranger their breakfast or bringing home a traveller to my home in Anchorage.

I have to Nemrut Dag in Eastern Turkey
I was in the Soviet Union in 1990 and gave my tour group te slip and spent a day exploring by myself.
I hitchhiked through Mexio in 2008.
