I am a Real Estate Investor. I buy and flip houses. Buy and hold houses. And sometimes, finance the purchase of houses for other real estate investors. I have projects in Alaska, California, Florida and Tennessee.

I'm a past-President of an Alaska Toastmaster's Club. I enjoy speaking and mentoring others into speaking & leadership roles. I enjoy social activities & like to be involved. I'm athletic, loving to run, work out, ski & bike.

I'm a past Youth Exchange Officer of an Alaskan Rotary Club.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

USA Experienced. One of our Toastmaster members gave a speech on couch surfing. It sounded interesting so I decided to give it a try. I also like the idea of staying close to the local experience rather than being insulated in stuffy hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived floods, earth quakes and volcanoes in Alaska.

Seen lots of animals in the wilds of Alaska - often very close.

Walked on Glaciers. Been to the Arctic Ocean. Seen polar bears. Been chased by Moose and Bears.

Survived a pit-bull dog attack.

Traveled across Europe on the Eurail.

Swimming in the Adriatic Ocean.

I flew solo in a small plane when I was 16 years old.

Stated my own business when I was 24.

I've stayed in a hotel made completely out of ice.

I've dipped my toe in the Arctic Ocean. Been to the oil fields of Prudoe Bay.

Carried a Great Horned Owl in the back seat of my car.

When I was a kid on a fly-in hunting trip, on a mountain in the Alaska Range, in a cool fall evening I saw a guy dismantle a full curl Dall Sheep with his bar hands. He forgot his ax and had to do "caveman" on this poor animal. That was almost 30 years ago and can still hear the neck and back bones popping cracking. Made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and eyes pop out!

NOTE: have since stopped hunting and limited the amount of meat I eat.

A Course In Miracles has taught me to forgive those you feel have done you wrong. It is the most refreshing and healthy thing you can do for yourself and the planet.

I'm very good with all aspects of small business, starting, running & making profitable. I was involved in taking one company "public".

I'm also some what intuitive and have a knack for coaching people through their perceived barriers.
